Who We Are
We are a family run company. Home companions was set up to be able to give dignity and independence to the elderly and disabled community a helping hand in their own home. This in mind promotes self worth and a strong sense of independence. I have never met a individual that at first asking are you ok saying no I need help. That is when Home Companions are that friendly face that arrives at your door just to how are you what do you want to do today.
I myself have felt the guilt and anxiety of looking after an elderly family member having to bring my children up work full time and care for family member.
Having that extra person through the day to go round help around the house chat take out relives the pressure and guilt.

Staff
All Home companion colleges are fully trained in care.
Not only that they have lived live in situations just like myself and understand the importance of promoting dignity and independence. They take time to know a person make them smile listen about their interesting lives. In doing this the elderly feel alive again and not a burden on their families , this get said to me all the time. We know they are not that burden but we all need a little respite to be us once in a while.
Our Aim
You need to know that the people that are caring for your loved ones,this is why we come out to your home and have a meeting and discuss all needs. This give you a chance to ask questions and put a plan in place that suites you.
